Junior Accountant
Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :
• Maintain and update daily financial records in QuickBooks.
• Record all transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Prepare and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, monitor balances, and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts and card statements.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and assist with VAT return preparation.
• Support management and auditors during audits and financial reviews.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices, contracts, and financial records.
• Perform additional accounting tasks as required by management.
Qualifications & Skills :
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (preferably in trading or FMCG sector).
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (mandatory).
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
• Strong MS Excel and reporting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Pay: AED5,000.00 per month
