Responsibilities:
Manage and review final accounts for landscaping projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contract terms.
Monitor and assess project costs during the post-construction phase, identifying any discrepancies or potential savings.
Review and assess any variations to the original scope of work, ensuring they are properly documented and accounted for.
Prepare cost estimates and valuations for completed works, liaising with project managers, contractors, and clients.
Oversee the preparation of interim payments and final payments to subcontractors and suppliers.
Conduct site visits to verify progress and ensure work aligns with the contract specifications.
Collaborate with the project management team to resolve any post-project cost issues.
Provide advice on cost control measures and suggest improvements to optimize project delivery.
Prepare and maintain reports on the financial status of projects, including budget, costs, and forecast.
Assist in preparing tender documentation and analyzing tender bids if required.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and best practices in quantity surveying.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on landscaping or civil works.
In-depth knowledge of post-construction cost management, valuations, and final accounts.
Strong understanding of UAE construction and contracting laws.
Professional certifications (e.g., MRICS) would be an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in design and build landscaping projects within the UAE.
Knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices and relevant industry standards.
Familiarity with project management software such as Procore or Aconex.
