Qualification Level:
MBBS or equivalent medical degree
Postgraduate specialization in Internal Medicine (MD, DNB, or equivalent)
Fellowship or certifications in subspecialties (optional)
Experience:
Minimum 5 – 7 years of clinical experience in internal medicine (depending on seniority)
Experience in hospital, clinic, or adult care settings preferred
Experience in subspecialties or academic teaching is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and manage adult medical conditions, including chronic, acute, and complex illnesses.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.
Provide preventive care and health education to patients.
Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare professionals for multidisciplinary patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Participate in clinical research, quality improvement initiatives, or teaching programs (if applicable).
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical standards, and regulatory requirements.
