Assistant Procurement Manager
Job Location : Kuwait
Key Responsibilities :
• Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition and sourcing to purchase orders, delivery tracking, invoice reconciliation, and payment.
• Conduct market intelligence by researching suppliers, assessing new products, and evaluating market trends for cost optimization and innovation.
• Negotiate vendor contracts to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, quality standards, and SLAs while managing vendor performance proactively.
• Ensure quality and compliance by performing inspections, reconciling POs, invoices, and receipts, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal policies.
• Optimize costs and budget control by monitoring procurement budgets, identifying savings opportunities, and reporting on key metrics.
• Coordinate internally by collaborating with presales, engineering, project teams, operations, and finance to align procurement with project needs.
• Drive continuous improvement by updating procurement policies, adopting best practices, and streamlining processes for efficiency.
• Manage logistics and supply chain to ensure timely delivery of technical materials and equipment in line with project schedules.
