Job Title: HSE Engineer / Officer
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in line with local regulations and international standards.
Ensure compliance with NEBOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, and other relevant standards.
Conduct HSE training and awareness programs for staff and contractors.
Monitor and control the use of safety equipment, PPE, and environmental measures.
Maintain records of HSE performance, incidents, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
Promote a safety-first culture among all employees and subcontractors.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
NEBOSH-certified with practical application of safety standards
Risk assessment, accident investigation, and incident reporting
Good communication, training, and interpersonal skills
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Attention to detail and proactive approach
Ability to work on-site in potentially challenging environments
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
Certifications: NEBOSH or equivalent
Experience: Minimum 2 years in HSE role, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or industrial projects
