Senior Purchase Officer /Junior Purchase Officer

Job Location: Manama, Bahrain

We are a leading civil engineering and construction company in Bahrain, engaged in major infrastructure and building projects, seeking a Senior Purchase Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement processes for construction materials, equipment, and services.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure timely material deliveries to project sites.
• Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with the project, engineering, and finance teams to meet project timelines and cost targets.
• Monitor supplier performance and develop long-term vendor relationships.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in procurement within a civil construction environment (infrastructure/building).
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of local and international suppliers in construction materials is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Must be currently available in Bahrain (preferred).

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
