Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately.
Maintain patient records and update prescription information.
Label and package medications according to regulations and standards.
Handle inventory management, including stock checks and reordering of medicines.
Ensure proper storage and handling of drugs and medical supplies.
Provide guidance to patients on medication usage, dosage, and possible side effects under pharmacist supervision.
Process insurance claims and billing where applicable.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
Comply with healthcare, safety, and pharmacy regulations.
Requirements:
Diploma or certification in Pharmacy or Pharmacy Technician program.
Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
Knowledge of medications, dosages, and pharmaceutical procedures.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Skills:
Familiarity with pharmacy software and inventory management systems.
