Responsibilities
Lead functional analysis, solution design, and implementation for Core Banking modules including GL, Loans, Teller, Payments, Trade Finance, and related areas.
Work closely with business users, product owners, and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
Configure, customize, and support FLEXCUBE (FCUBS versions 11–14) to meet business and regulatory needs within the bank.
Conduct gap analysis between current system capabilities and target business requirements, proposing suitable solutions and workarounds.
Collaborate with technical teams (developers, architects, QA) to ensure proper understanding and implementation of functional requirements.
Prepare and review test scenarios, test cases, and test data for SIT and UAT; support end users during testing and defect resolution.
Lead functional workshops, walkthroughs, and demo sessions with business stakeholders and project teams.
Ensure proper documentation of functional designs, configurations, user guides, and operating procedures.
Provide production support for core banking functionalities, investigate incidents, and coordinate timely resolution.
Stay updated with UAE banking regulations and industry best practices, ensuring system compliance where required.
Requirements
Experience: 11–14 years as a Functional Business Analyst in Core Banking environments.
Core Banking Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE (FCUBS versions 11–14) across multiple modules (e.g., GL, Loans, Teller, Payments, Trade Finance; additional modules such as CASA, Deposits, etc. are a plus).
Banking Domain Experience: Proven experience working with banks in the UAE (mandatory), with strong understanding of local banking operations, products, and regulatory landscape.
Solid experience in requirements gathering, functional design, and end-to-end implementation of core banking solutions.
Strong understanding of banking processes: retail and/or corporate products, account management, lending, payments, trade finance, general ledger, etc.
Experience in coordinating and supporting SIT/UAT, defect triage, and go-live activities.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to work onsite in Dubai and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Availability: Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods are highly preferred.
