Quantity Surveyor
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities :
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for Roads and Infrastructure works.
• Evaluate project drawings, specifications, and IFC documents for accurate measurement.
• Monitor project cost performance and highlight deviations to the project team.
• Prepare and review subcontractor payments, interim valuations, and final accounts.
• Assess variations, claims, and change orders with proper documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams for accurate cost and progress tracking.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project specifications, and industry standards.
• Assist in tendering processes including pricing, rate analysis, and commercial evaluations.
• Maintain updated records of quantities, cost reports, and project documentation.
• Support project commercial activities, budgeting, and forecasting.
Requirements :
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Roads & Infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering drawings, specifications, and R&I project standards.
• Proven background in cost control, estimation, and contracts administration.
• Familiarity with UAE project contract frameworks (FIDIC preferred).
• Proficiency in QS software, MS Office (Excel), and measurement tools.
Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or an equivalent discipline.
• Professional certification (RICS, MRICS, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
