Job Details :
• Plan and deliver art lessons that align with curriculum standards or educational goals.
• Teach students different techniques, styles, and mediums used in visual arts such as drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, ceramics, etc.
• Demonstrate artistic techniques and methods to students.
• Provide guidance and feedback to students on their artwork to help them improve their skills.
• Develop lesson plans, projects, and assignments that cater to students' skill levels and interests.
• Integrate art history, theory, and criticism into lessons to provide context and inspire creativity.
• Stay updated on trends and advancements in the art world to incorporate relevant content into the curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves creatively.
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline as needed.
• Ensure the safety of students and the proper use of art materials and equipment.
• Assess students' progress through various means such as critiques, portfolio reviews, and exams.
• Provide constructive feedback on students' artwork to help them understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
• Keep records of students' artwork and grades.
