Inventory Manager
Job Location : Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :
• Oversee all aspects of inventory management, including stock control, replenishment, and forecasting.
• Develop and implement inventory management strategies to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance stock availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify trends to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department to coordinate stock replenishment and resolve any supply chain issues.
• Implement and maintain inventory tracking systems and ensure data accuracy across all platforms.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and present regular inventory reports and metrics to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices in inventory handling and management.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations pertaining to inventory storage and handling.
Requirements :
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management, specifically in the retail or hypermarket sector in the UAE or GCC.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various departments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
