Responsibilities:
Inspect surface preparation, primer, and coating application to ensure compliance with project and client specifications.
Verify paint thickness, adhesion, gloss, and appearance using standard inspection tools.
Monitor application methods, curing processes, and environmental conditions.
Conduct visual inspections and perform tests such as holiday testing or thickness measurement.
Identify defects or non-conformances and report corrective actions.
Maintain accurate inspection records and quality reports.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and QA/QC engineers for compliance and approvals.
Skills Required:
Knowledge of painting/coating techniques and industry standards (ISO, SSPC, NACE).
Proficiency in inspection tools (dry film thickness gauge, adhesion tester, gloss meter).
Strong attention to detail and quality-conscious mindset.
Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and procedures.
Good reporting and documentation skills.
Communication and coordination with project teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Coating, Metallurgy, or related field.
3–7 years of experience in painting/coating inspection on industrial, structural, or marine projects.
