Key Responsibilities:
Assist Land Surveyors in field surveying tasks for infrastructure projects.
Set up and handle surveying equipment (tripods, prism poles, levels, tapes, total station accessories).
Mark points, drive stakes, measure distances, and prepare survey areas.
Support setting-out works for roads, utilities, pipelines, and other infra elements.
Work safely at elevated areas in compliance with Work at Height procedures.
Maintain, clean, and transport equipment and tools.
Follow instructions precisely to ensure accurate measurements.
Coordinate with engineers, site supervisors, and construction teams.
Ensure compliance with site safety regulations and company standards.
Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements:
Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Chainman in infrastructure projects.
Valid Work at Height Certificate is mandatory.
Knowledge of basic surveying tools and site-level procedures.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good communication skills and teamwork attitude
