Description:
We are seeking a skilled Security Resident Engineer (Data Security Specialist) to join our team in Abu Dhabi for an onsite role. This position is ideal for someone who has significant hands-on experience securing sensitive information and working with advanced data protection tools and governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, update, and enforce data security standards, procedures, and internal policies
Perform data discovery activities, maintain inventories, and classify sensitive information
Oversee and optimize DLP solutions across endpoints, networks, cloud environments, and email systems
Operate DSPM tools and support remediation efforts for identified risks
Configure and manage Digital Rights Management (DRM) platforms
Support incident response workflows and ensure secure data handling practices
Experience Required:
Over 5 years of experience in Data Security, Cybersecurity, or Information Protection
Strong practical knowledge of DLP, DSPM, DRM, and data classification technologies
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, along with a solid understanding of Zero Trust security frameworks
Preferred Tools:
MS Purview, Varonis, Symantec DLP, BigID, Forcepoint, Netskope, OneTrust
Preferred Certifications:
AZ-500, CCSP, CIPT, CDPSE, CEH
