Job Position – Finance & Accounts Manager
Company Name – Alfakhama Trading

Responsibilities (Managerial & Strategic):
Oversee the full finance and accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
Develop, implement, and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analysis to support decision-making.
Review and validate financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts.
Manage working capital, ensure liquidity, and supervise all AP/AR activities at a strategic level.
Lead VAT compliance, including proper calculation, reporting, filing, and communication with authorities.
Oversee audit processes and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance.
Manage and mentor the accounting team, including recruitment, development, and performance management.
Approve supplier payments and ensure alignment with financial policies and budget controls.
Provide financial insights, risk assessments, and recommendations directly to senior management.
Ensure continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and reporting mechanisms.
Supervise payroll operations and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing.
Support the Managing Director with financial evaluations and special assignments.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Finance Manager / Accounts Manager in a trading environment.
Experience in raw material trading companies (preferred and prioritized).
Strong understanding of UAE VAT, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with senior management.
Proficiency in accounting systems and advanced Excel.
