Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed eye examinations to diagnose vision problems and ocular diseases.
Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and treatment plans based on patient conditions.
Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries when required (e.g., cataract, LASIK, glaucoma treatments).
Use diagnostic tools such as slit lamps, OCT, fundus cameras, and visual field machines.
Monitor and follow up on patients’ progress and treatment outcomes.
Collaborate with optometrists, technicians, and medical staff for coordinated care.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and post-treatment guidelines.
Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology and clinical best practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Ophthalmologist in a hospital or clinic setting.
Expertise in diagnosing and managing eye diseases and visual disorders.
Surgical experience is preferred (depending on employer requirements).
Strong patient management, communication, and diagnostic skills.
