Description:
We are hiring an Accountant with a primary focus on Accounts Receivable to join the finance team of a fast-growing freight forwarding business based in Dubai. This role directly supports operations linked to Turkey, so applicants must be Turkish nationals or possess professional-level fluency in Turkish, and must currently reside in Dubai.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate and issue accurate customer invoices in accordance with freight forwarding billing procedures.
• Track outstanding receivables and carry out timely collection follow-ups.
• Reconcile customer accounts and investigate payment variances.
• Produce AR aging reports, credit-control summaries, and monthly collection updates.
• Assist with month-end closing tasks, support AP/GL activities, and contribute to audit preparations.
• Liaise with Sales and Operations to confirm billing details and resolve disputes promptly.
What We’re Looking For:
• Turkish national or professional-level Turkish language ability (essential).
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (preferred).
• 2–4 years of practical accounting experience, ideally within freight forwarding or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, credit control, and customer account management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics (DAX) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical mind, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good command of English and Turkish for effective communication across teams.
