Infrastructure Draftsman
Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate 2D/3D drawings for community roads, including layout, grading, drainage, and utility plans.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate design concepts into detailed drawings.
• Ensure drawings comply with local regulations, standards, and codes.
• Update and maintain project drawings throughout the design and construction phases.
• Assist in site surveys and incorporate findings into drawings as required.
• Review and coordinate drawings with other disciplines (landscape, MEP, etc.) to avoid clashes.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and approvals.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline is mandatory.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in road design or civil infrastructure drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software; knowledge of Civil 3D is a plus.
• Understanding of road design, grading, drainage, and utility layout.
• Ability to read and interpret civil engineering plans and specifications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
• Experience in residential community road projects.
• Familiarity with local municipal and road design regulations in UAE.
