Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Market Growth

Develop and execute a business plan to expand the cold store footprint within the UAE.
Continuously monitor the market to identify new business opportunities and generate profitable value propositions.
Conduct proactive outreach to potential and existing customers to secure and maintain business.

Customer Relationship Management

Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations.
Engage in consultative selling at all organizational levels, including C-suite executives.
Ensure a deep understanding of customers’ end-to-end supply chain requirements.
Position Maersk as the advisor of choice through strategic engagement and solution-oriented discussions.

Solution Design & Value Proposition

Develop customer-centric value propositions that address pain points across the entire supply chain.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling across Maersk’s integrated logistics solutions.
Create comprehensive account plans highlighting growth opportunities, strategic initiatives, and multi-level engagement.

Internal Collaboration & Execution

Maintain accurate visibility of the sales pipeline, sales activities, and performance reporting.
Support smooth operational implementation and handover processes once business is secured.
Ensure all contracts, agreements, and customer solution documents (service agreements, credit terms, supplier contracts, etc.) are validated and approved according to corporate guidelines.
Share best practices across teams and locations to drive capability development and consistency.

Who We Are Looking For

5–7 years of experience in business development with a strong “hunter” profile.
Proven experience working with FMCG and cold chain customers in the UAE.
Demonstrated track record of successful commercial performance.
Strong solution-selling orientation and ability to deliver integrated logistics value.

Technical & Personal Skills

Strong understanding of contract logistics, cold store operations, land transport, ocean, and air solutions.
Deep knowledge of cold store operational processes (preferred).
Ability to conduct consultative selling and articulate value creation through integrated supply chain solutions.
Strong analytical mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Highly self-motivated, independent, and collaborative team player.
