Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Waste Management Supervisor to lead daily waste management operations, ensure full regulatory compliance, and promote sustainable waste management practices across multiple facilities in Qatar. The role requires strong operational leadership, regulatory knowledge, and hands-on experience in environmental services.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day waste management operations across assigned facilities.
Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations, health & safety standards, and reporting requirements.
Implement and monitor waste segregation, recycling programs, and handling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
Supervise, train, and manage operational teams to ensure safe and efficient practices.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and regulatory authorities to maintain service quality and compliance.
Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and operational tracking records.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sustainability and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in waste management, environmental services, or facilities/maintenance operations.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in team supervision and daily operations management.
Strong knowledge of waste segregation, recycling, and hazardous/non-hazardous waste handling.
Familiarity with local regulations, HSE standards, and compliance reporting.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in basic reporting, documentation, and operational tracking systems.
