TANK INSPECTORS

Responsible for inspecting storage tanks during fabrication, erection, welding, and testing stages, ensuring compliance with international standards (like API 650), reviewing quality documentation, and reporting non-conformances.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Inspection Activities
- Conduct inspections during fabrication, erection, welding, and hydrotesting of tanks.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and standards such as API 650.
- Documentation Review
- Verify welding records, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) reports, material certificates, and dimensional inspection reports.
- Testing & Surveys
- Witness hydrostatic testing, settlement surveys, and final inspections.
- Identify non-conformances and monitor corrective actions.
- Reporting
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation for project records.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience: Mandatory prior experience in tank inspection for oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
- Certifications: API 650 certification is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of welding processes, NDT methods, and international codes/standards.
