HR Assistant
Job Location : Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in both physical and digital HR filing systems.
• Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts, offer letters, No Objection Certificates (NOCs), and experience certificates.
• Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation, orientation scheduling, and system setup.
• Assist with the offboarding process, including exit interviews, clearance procedures, and final settlement calculations.
• Support the administration of employee benefits, insurance, and leave management.
• Process all government-related transactions via the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MOHRE), Tas'heel, and other relevant portals (e.g., employment visas, renewals, cancellations, work permits).
• Ensure strict adherence to UAE Labor Law in all HR activities and documentation.
• Keep abreast of changes in UAE labor regulations and update internal checklists and processes accordingly.
• Assist with the preparation of reports for management as needed.
• Serve as a first point of contact for employee HR queries, providing accurate information and guidance.
• Support the HR team in promoting a positive work environment and company culture.
• Assist in organizing company events, training sessions, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Schedule meetings, interviews, and HR-related events.
• Manage HR department correspondence and communications.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the HR Manager.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as an HR Assistant or in a similar HR administrative role.
• Essential: Good knowledge and practical experience applying UAE Labor Law and standard HR practices.
• Proficient in handling MOHRE and other UAE government portals.
• Understanding of visa, work permit, and immigration processes in Dubai/UAE.
Skills:
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with high attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with discretion and confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Language: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is a significant advantage.
