QA/QC Manager
Job Location : Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Lead all internal and external quality audits (client, consultant, regulatory bodies) and manage the non-conformance reporting (NCR) process.
• Oversee the QA/QC Inspectors, ensuring systematic inspection of materials, workmanship, and methodologies.
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and material inspection requests.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on all quality-related matters.
• Analyze quality performance data and report to senior management with recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Ensure all quality records are properly maintained and traceable.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) preferred.
• Minimum 12-15 years in QA/QC, with at least 5 years in a managerial role on major construction projects in the UAE/GCC.
• In-depth knowledge of Abu Dhabi building codes and regulations.
