Head of Construction
Job Location : United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
• You would oversee all construction projects from inception to completion. This involves planning budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Managing a team of construction professionals including engineers, architects, contractors, and laborers. Providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure projects are executed efficiently and safely.
• Sourcing materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects. Negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships to optimize costs and timelines.
• Ensuring all construction activities comply with local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards. Obtaining necessary permits and licenses as required.
• Identifying potential risks related to construction projects (e.g., safety hazards, budget overruns) and implementing strategies to mitigate them. Monitoring project progress and addressing issues promptly.
• Implementing construction management software and other technological tools to streamline processes, improve communication, and enhance project efficiency.
