Description:
Finanshels.com is expanding its Audit & Assurance practice and is seeking an experienced and driven Audit and Assurance Lead to lead and develop this function from its Dubai base. This role is designed for a professional who combines strong technical expertise with leadership capability and a strategic mindset.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead and manage statutory audits for SMEs, startups, and corporate clients across various sectors
• Ensure full compliance with IFRS, ISA, and UAE audit and regulatory requirements
• Prepare, review, and finalize audit reports along with regulatory and statutory submissions
• Work closely with tax, bookkeeping, and compliance teams to deliver integrated client solutions
• Mentor, guide, and review the work of junior auditors while supporting the growth of the audit practice
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Professionally qualified CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in external audit with strong SME or mid-market exposure
• Prior experience with Top 10 audit firms is highly preferred
• Eligible or registered as a UAE Approved Auditor with the Ministry of Economy
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and ISA with strong communication and client-handling skills
