Job Position – Accountant/Bookkeeper

We have been appointed by clients who are at the forefront of designing, developing, and manufacturing autonomous, unmanned land and maritime platforms in their search for a reliable/detail oriented Bookkeeper.
Hiring for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage their day-to-day financial transactions. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring our accounts are always up to date.
The ideal candidate is someone who loves numbers, has a sharp eye for detail, and enjoys bringing order to financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Management: Record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Reconciliation: Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, follow up on payments, and manage vendor relationships.
Reporting: Prepare financial reports (Balance Sheets, P&L) by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
Compliance: Assist with payroll processing and ensure tax compliance (sales tax, etc.).
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
Software Proficiency: Strong skills in [QuickBooks / Xero / Sage] and Microsoft Excel.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Communication: Ability to explain financial data clearly to non-financial team members.
Education: [Associate’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience].
