Job Position – L2 Windows / VMware Administrator

Experience: 6–10+ years (L2 support & administration)
Salary: 8000 AED
Shift: Rotational / 24×7 support
Key Responsibilities:
Handle L2 escalated incidents from L1 teams and ensure timely resolution
Perform advanced troubleshooting on Windows Servers, VMware, AD, Storage & OS issues
Monitor system health using tools like SolarWinds, Nagios
Manage patching, backups, firmware updates, and vulnerability fixes
Support server, storage, and virtualization deployments (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V)
Implement user access controls, GPOs, and security configurations
Work closely with L3 teams and vendors for complex issues
Maintain clear documentation and reports
Key Skills Required:
Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP
Hands-on experience in VMware ESXi build, maintenance & patching
Knowledge of SAN/NAS, backup solutions, Windows Clusters
Experience with ServiceNow/Jira and monitoring tools
Exposure to Cisco UCS, Blade Chassis, Datacenter support
Good-to-have: Exchange/O365, SCCM
Certifications (Preferred):
Microsoft Certified (Azure Administrator or equivalent)
VMware VCP
ITIL Foundation
