We are looking for HSE Engineer
Work Location: Al-Khafji Joint Operations (KJO) – Offshore Facilities
Contract Type: Long-Term Maintenance Contract
Job Summary:
The HSE Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and international regulations during offshore operations. The role focuses on minimizing risks, preventing incidents, and promoting a strong safety culture on offshore facilities and vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain HSE management systems for offshore projects and operations
Ensure compliance with international, national, and client HSE regulations (e.g., IMO, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
Conduct offshore HSE inspections, audits, and safety tours
Identify hazards and perform risk assessments (JSA, HAZID, HAZOP)
Monitor and report on safety performance, incidents, near misses, and environmental impacts
Investigate accidents and incidents; prepare root cause analysis and corrective action plans
Provide HSE training, toolbox talks, and safety inductions for offshore personnel
Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safe working practices
Review and approve method statements, lifting plans, and permit-to-work systems
Liaise with offshore management, clients, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters
Monitor waste management, spill prevention, and environmental protection measures
Maintain accurate HSE documentation and reports
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
Core HSE experience preferably in oil & gas, marine, or offshore construction & maintenance
Strong knowledge of offshore safety regulations and industry standards
Valid offshore certifications such as:
BOSIET / HUET
NEBOSH IGC or equivalent
H2S (where applicable)
Experience with PTW systems and emergency response procedures
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work rotational offshore schedules

Candidates with Immediate joining are preferred.
Basic salary per month will be 3000 USD
