Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient consultations, assessments, and medical history reviews
Develop individualized acupuncture treatment plans
Perform acupuncture and related therapies (e.g., cupping, moxibustion, electro-acupuncture if trained)
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and treatment notes
Educate patients on treatment plans, expected outcomes, and lifestyle recommendations
Adhere to infection control, safety, and hygiene standards
Collaborate with physicians, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals
Ensure compliance with ethical standards and local healthcare regulations
Participate in continuous professional development and training
Qualifications
BSc of Acupuncture Medicine (minimum five (5) years full-time course duration including internship) Two (2) years of experience post qualification in related field
Accredited Acupuncture program (minimum Two (2) years full-time course duration) or part-time equivalent with a minimum of 2500 teaching hours/Certification from National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) or equivalent body Three (3) years of experience post qualification in related field.
Licensed Physician privileged to practice Acupuncture with Certification from an Accredited Acupuncture training program (minimum of 800 hours/ or one (1) year course duration)Two (2) years of experience post qualification in related field
