Job Title: QA/QC Inspector – Painting
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and verify painting and coating works according to project specifications, standards, and procedures.
Monitor surface preparation, primer application, and final coating quality.
Ensure compliance with project drawings, material specifications, and client requirements.
Conduct inspections at different stages of the painting process and prepare inspection reports.
Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and painting contractors to resolve quality issues.
Review Material Test Certificates (MTCs), paint data sheets, and relevant documentation.
Perform tests such as adhesion, thickness, and gloss measurements as required.
Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations on-site.
Maintain records of inspections, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Coatings Technology, or related engineering discipline.
Proven experience as a QA/QC Inspector in painting/coating works on industrial, construction, or offshore projects.
Knowledge of painting standards (ISO, SSPC, NACE) and coating application techniques.
Familiarity with inspection tools, thickness gauges, and testing equipment.
Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and reporting abilities.
Good communication and coordination skills.
