Key Responsibilities

Monitor and control food, beverage, and operational costs
Analyze cost variances and ensure budget compliance
Manage inventory control, stock valuation, and usage reports
Prepare and review cost control and financial reports
Coordinate with purchasing, stores, and operations teams
Provide cost insights and recommendations to management
Support audits and internal financial controls
Ensure adherence to hospitality cost-control standards and procedures

Requirements & Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field

Experience:

Minimum 2+ years of experience in cost control
Mandatory background in hotels or restaurants

Technical Skills:

Strong cost control and cost analysis skills
Inventory management and reporting
Financial reporting and data accuracy
Proficiency in Excel and hospitality systems (preferred)

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work collaboratively with operations teams

OMR 500 – 800 per month
(Based on Cost Controller roles in Oman’s hospitality sector with 2+ years of experience)
