Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit a MOCCAE licensed Veterinary Ophthalmic Surgeon for their client in Dubai which is a reputed chain of veterinary clinics for cats and dogs, operating across UAE.
We are looking for Veterinary Ophthalmic Surgeons who have a minimum of 5 to 8 years experience in Dubai as an Ophthalmic Surgeon.Candidates without experience in Dubai would not qualify for this vacancy.Veterinarians with a large following would be ideal candidates. In this role you would conduct comprehensive eye examinations using advanced equipment, including slit-lamp biomicroscopy, indirect ophthalmoscopy, tonometry (eye pressure measurement), and gonioscopy. Perform intricate, often microscopic, eye surgeries, including: Cataract removal and lens implantation. Corneal grafting, repair of ulcers, and keratectomies.Corrective procedures for entropion (inward-turning eyelids) or ectropion (outward-turning eyelids). Cyclophotocoagulation (laser) or shunt implantation. Removal of severely diseased eyes. Develop and manage treatment plans for chronic or acute conditions like uveitis, dry eye (keratoconjunctivitis sicca), glaucoma, and retinal diseases. Provide urgent care for trauma, acute uveitis, or sudden blindness. Work with primary care veterinarians and, if necessary, other specialists (oncologists, internists) to manage systemic diseases affecting the eye. Educate pet owners on diagnoses, long-term care, and prognosis, particularly for chronic diseases or blindness.
Salary : Aed 40,000 per month plus incentives (Salary mentioned in the advertisement is indicative.The final offer lies at the discretion of the client and will be made after completion of interviews).
