Design Manager

Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the overall design process from initial concept stages through detailed design development and authority approvals
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to deliver fully integrated and coordinated design solutions
• Review design submissions and deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality standards, and compliance with UAE regulations and authority requirements
• Plan and control design schedules, resources, and deliverables in alignment with approved project timelines
• Chair and lead design coordination meetings, technical reviews, and multidisciplinary workshops
• Proactively identify potential design risks and resolve technical or coordination challenges
• Provide ongoing design support to project teams during tendering and construction stages, addressing design-related queries and issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering
• 8 to 15 years of solid experience in design management within architectural or multidisciplinary consultancy environments
• Strong knowledge of UAE design standards, Dubai Building Code, and authority approval procedures
• Proven track record in managing and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
