Store Keeper
Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including materials, tools, and equipment.
• Conduct regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy and prevent shortages.
• Update inventory records using appropriate software or systems.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to order necessary materials and supplies.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites to prevent project delays.
• Organize and store materials in a systematic and easily accessible manner.
• Implement best practices for storage to prevent damage and deterioration.
• Label and categorize materials accurately.
• Maintain detailed records of stock movements, including receipts, issues, and returns.
• Generate and submit reports on inventory status, stock levels, and usage patterns.
• Ensure documentation complies with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure the store area complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols for handling and storing materials.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management or a related field is a plus.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of construction materials and tools is preferred.
• Previous experience as a storekeeper or in inventory management, preferably in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with civil construction projects and material requirements is an advantage.
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
