Job Position – HSE Officer
Company Name – Elmar Marinas
To ensure effective implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards at the Factory
Experience: 8+ years experience
Location: Umm Al Quwain

Key Responsibilities:
Identify workplace hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented as soon as reasonably practicable.
Record HSE observations and Near Misses, and report them to the Line Manager.
Ensure full compliance with the HSE Plan, including relevant procedures and work instructions.
Be knowledgeable and actively involved in Emergency Response Procedures.
Inspect and ensure readiness of firefighting and emergency equipment.
Conduct and participate in toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Ensure site notice boards are updated with current HSE information.
Monitor and ensure work activities follow the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
Remain available on-site during all ongoing work activities.
Promote environmental awareness and ensure proper waste segregation and disposal (hazardous and non-hazardous).
Ensure all electrical and mechanical tools are inspected, safe, and in good working condition.
Provide HSE induction and training to site personnel, including subcontractors.
Participate in internal and external HSE audits.
Ensure all required HSE controls are effectively implemented and followed.
Maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders.
Immediately stop unsafe work practices that may lead to incidents.
Report incidents to the Project’s Senior HSE Responsible Person.
Prepare and participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation.

Qualifications & Certifications:
Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Safety, or a related field.
NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory).
Strong knowledge of Risk Assessment and HSE documentation.
ISO 45001 Certification (Preferred).
