Key Responsibilities
SQL Responsibilities
Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for reporting and data extraction
Develop efficient joins, subqueries, analytic functions, and aggregations
Create and maintain database views for reporting and application usage
Analyze query performance and apply tuning techniques (indexes, execution plans, hints)
Support ad-hoc reporting requests from business and operations teams
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports
PL/SQL Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions
Implement business logic at the database level following best practices
Handle exception management, logging, and error handling
Develop scheduled jobs and batch processes
Refactor and optimize existing PL/SQL code for performance and maintainability
Work efficiently with large data volumes
Reporting & Support
Extract and prepare reports for management and stakeholders
Support existing reporting solutions and troubleshoot data issues
Collaborate with functional users to convert business requirements into technical solutions
Assist in data validation and reconciliation activities
Requirements & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Technical & Professional Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
Proven experience developing PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions
Solid understanding of relational database design and data modeling
Strong performance tuning and query optimization skills
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Language Requirement:
Arabic proficiency (spoken & written) – mandatory
Experience:
Enterprise-level database or backend development experience preferred

Average Market Salary (Estimated – UAE):
AED 12,000 – 18,000 per month (Based on role scope, onsite requirement, and UAE market benchmarks)
