Job Purpose
To perform structural and piping fabrication activities—including cutting, fitting, assembly, and tack welding—while ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Fabrication & Assembly
• Execute Marking & cutting, fitting, bevelling, alignment, and assembly of structural steel and piping components.
• Fabricate miter bends, spools, tee’s & frames, supports, platforms, racks, skids, and various pipe support and steel structures.
• Perform tack welding to secure components prior to final welding.
• Measure, mark, and prepare materials in accordance with fabrication drawings.
• Ensure fit-up accuracy, correct orientation, and adherence to required dimensions and tolerances.

2. Drawings & Specifications
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, GA drawings, and BOMs.
• Understand weld symbols, material specifications, and dimensional tolerances.
• Follow project specifications, method statements, and work instructions.

3. Quality & Inspection Support
• Ensure fabrication quality meets all dimensional and visual inspection standards.
• Coordinate with welders and QC inspectors during inspection stages.
• Identify and correct fabrication defects, misalignments, or non-conformities.
• Maintain material traceability and proper identification as required.

4. Tools, Equipment & Material Handling
• Operate fabrication equipment such as cutting machines, grinders, drills, bevelling machines, and precision measuring tools.
• Safely handle steel materials, pipes, and fittings using proper lifting techniques.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Report any defects, damages, or shortages in materials or tools.

5. Safety & HSE Compliance
• Comply strictly with all HSE policies, safe work practices, and permit-to-work systems.
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and job safety assessments.
• Report unsafe acts, hazardous conditions, near misses, or incidents immediately.

6. Coordination & Productivity
• Coordinate with welders, riggers, supervisors, and engineers to meet daily/weekly production targets.
• Support shutdowns, critical lifts, and time-sensitive fabrication activities.
• Work overtime or in shifts as required by project schedules.

Note: Candidates must be willing to mobilize at short notice.
Compensation & Benefits
1. Gross Salary (Basic + Food Allowance):
o Welder: Approx. AED 2,300 per month
2. Food:
o Cooking facilities available at accommodation.
o Subsidized food can be arranged if required.
3. Accommodation:
o Company-provided shared bachelor accommodation.
4. Transportation:
o Company transport provided between accommodation and workplace.
5. Bonus / Incentives:
o As per company policy.
6. Annual Leave:
o 30 calendar days per year.
7. Leave Ticket:
o Once every 2 years (eligible upon completion of 2 years of service).
8. Medical Insurance:
o Provided by the company.
9. Group Life Insurance:
o Provided for the employee.
10. PPE:
• All required PPE supplied by the company.
Overtime (as per UAE Labour Law):
• Normal working days: 1.2 × basic salary
• Weekends: 1.5 × basic salary
• Typical work pattern: 10–11 hours/day, including 2–3 hours OT
Contract & Employment Terms
• Working Days: 6 days per week
• Working Hours: 8 hours/day (excluding 1-hour break)
• Probation: As per company skill validation and policy
• Workers typically perform 10–11 hours/day, earning 2–3 hours overtime daily.
