Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures
Supervise inventory reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting
Ensure proper financial controls within construction project accounting
Monitor cash flow, cost allocation, and project-based financial tracking
Utilize Odoo ERP system for financial reporting, reconciliation, and process optimization
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to senior management
Develop and mentor accounting team members to enhance performance and professional development
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting is an advantage
Certifications (Preferred)
CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional accounting certification preferred
Additional certification in ERP systems or financial management is a plus
Experience
Minimum 10 years of accounting experience
Proven experience in construction companies (mandatory)
Extensive experience in financial statements preparation and budgeting
Strong experience in month-end and year-end closing
Experience handling inventory reconciliations
Mandatory hands-on experience with Odoo ERP system
Must be currently residing in Riyadh
Technical & Soft Skills
Strong knowledge of construction accounting practices
Advanced financial reporting and budgeting skills
ERP proficiency (Odoo required)

Average Market Salary (Estimated):
SAR 18,000 – SAR 28,000 per month (based on senior-level construction accounting professionals in Riyadh with 10+ years of experience)
