Junior Accountant
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Hiring: Junior Accountant – Business Bay, Dubai
A growing consulting firm located in Business Bay, Dubai is expanding its operations and is currently looking to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join the team immediately. The organization is seeking a finance professional who is confident in managing end-to-end accounting activities while ensuring compliance with UAE tax and financial regulations. This role is ideal for candidates who have practical accounting experience and wish to further develop their careers in a professional consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle accounting processes in accordance with UAE financial and regulatory standards
• Prepare and submit VAT and Corporate Tax filings to the Federal Tax Authority (FTA)
• Generate accurate monthly and annual financial reports and statements
• Maintain, organize, and verify financial records and supporting documentation
• Provide accounting and taxation consultations to clients when required
• Coordinate with auditors, banking institutions, and relevant UAE government authorities
• Ensure complete adherence to FTA compliance requirements and reporting standards
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years’ professional accounting experience
• Previous experience within an accounting firm and UAE-based accounting exposure is mandatory
• Strong understanding of IFRS principles along with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
• Hands-on experience in preparing and filing tax returns
• Proficiency in TALLY ERP accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and communication skills
• English language proficiency at intermediate level or higher
