Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for mechanical, electrical, or architectural systems within building projects
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project teams to coordinate BIM models and resolve design conflicts
Prepare accurate 3D models, drawings, and documentation for construction and design teams
Ensure models comply with project specifications, BIM standards, and quality requirements
Update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle based on design revisions and project changes
Participate in BIM coordination meetings and clash detection processes
Support project teams with technical documentation and model-based design coordination
Ensure proper model organization, file management, and documentation standards
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
Experience
Experience working as a BIM Modeler on building construction projects
Building project experience is mandatory
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit and related BIM tools
Experience creating and managing 3D BIM models for building systems
Knowledge of construction drawings, project specifications, and design documentation
Familiarity with BIM coordination processes and clash detection tools
Soft Skills:
Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams
Effective communication and coordination skills
Ability to manage model updates within project timelines
Salary, Benefits & Career Growth
Average Market Salary (Estimated):
QAR 6,000 – QAR 9,000 per month (based on BIM Modelers with building project experience in Qatar’s construction sector)
