Key Responsibilities
• Install and configure fiber optic cables, patch panels, and network infrastructure components.
• Perform fiber optic cable splicing and ensure accurate network layout installation.
• Trace fiber optic connections and troubleshoot fiber cuts or connectivity issues.
• Install and maintain UTP structured cabling systems including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and Cat7.
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of network cabling systems.
• Support data center rack installation and cable management activities.
• Assist in monitoring data center infrastructure performance and operational stability.
• Maintain network documentation and infrastructure records.
• Support preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for network infrastructure components.
• Ensure compliance with structured cabling and data center operational standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Diploma or technical certification in Networking, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
• Practical experience with fiber optic cable installation, splicing, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and Cat7.
• Experience installing and managing data center racks and cabling infrastructure.
• Familiarity with data center operations, monitoring systems, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Knowledge of data center monitoring tools and network troubleshooting processes.
• Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Candidates with transferable Iqama in Saudi Arabia are preferred.
