Key Responsibilities:
Allocate and deploy workers according to project requirements under the guidance of the Construction Manager or Project Manager.
Monitor and evaluate project progress against the planned construction schedule.
Assess manpower, equipment, and material requirements to meet project milestones.
Ensure implementation of quality, health, safety, and environmental policies across the construction site.
Coordinate with client and consultant representatives to resolve project-related issues.
Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and construction programs.
Optimize utilization of manpower and materials to ensure efficient project completion.
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors for timely project execution.
Work closely with QA/QC engineers and inspectors to ensure compliance with inspection and testing requirements.
Prepare method statements, procedures, and documentation for project activities when required.
Liaise with consultants and site representatives on construction-related technical matters.
Promote company QHSE and information security management system policies across the project team.
Perform additional duties assigned by the Project Manager or Construction Manager.
Requirements & Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum 7 years of professional experience in civil construction project management or site engineering roles.
Strong experience in planning, organizing, executing, and commissioning construction projects.
Proven ability to manage technical objectives within project timelines and budget constraints.
Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Knowledge of construction management practices, engineering documentation, and site supervision procedures.
Preferred Certifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
MMUP certification or equivalent professional engineering accreditation.
Salary, Benefits & Career Growth
Average Market Salary (Estimated):
QAR 12,000 – QAR 18,000 per month based on Qatar construction industry standards for Project Engineers with over 7 years of experience.
