Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations including refraction, visual acuity testing, and ocular health assessment.
Provide advanced contact lens consultations and fittings for patients with various vision needs.
Perform Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) lens fitting and monitor treatment progress.
Fit and manage scleral contact lenses, ensuring proper fit and patient comfort.
Conduct advanced fitting and follow-up for soft contact lenses.
Fit and troubleshoot hard/RGP contact lenses for patients with specialized vision needs.
Educate patients on proper lens care, usage, and maintenance.
Monitor patient progress through regular follow-up consultations.
Identify and manage ocular conditions related to contact lens usage.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals when required.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and clinical best practices.
Maintain a high standard of patient care and professional ethics.
Stay updated with advancements in optometry and contact lens technology.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior optometrists or support staff when needed.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or equivalent qualification.
5–7 years of professional optometry experience (clinic or medical center experience preferred).
Proven expertise in advanced contact lens fitting.
Strong hands-on experience with Ortho-K lenses.
Scleral lens fitting experience is mandatory.
Experience with soft contact lenses and hard/RGP lenses.
Excellent clinical skills in refraction and ocular health assessment.
Strong communication and patient education skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Professional attitude with strong attention to detail and patient care.
