Key Responsibilities:
Monitor database performance, system availability, and operational stability
Administer Oracle databases including configuration, optimization, and maintenance
Implement database security policies, user access controls, and compliance standards
Manage backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and data restoration processes
Maintain and optimize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments
Perform performance tuning and capacity planning for databases and cloud systems
Troubleshoot database and infrastructure issues to ensure minimal downtime
Automate monitoring and operational workflows where applicable
Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and cybersecurity teams
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in database administration and cloud infrastructure
Strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration
Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments
Knowledge of database performance tuning and monitoring tools
Experience implementing security controls, access management, and data protection policies
Proven expertise in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions
Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Professional certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or OCI certifications are highly preferred
Excellent communication and documentation skills
OMR 2,000 – 3,200 per month
