Naval Architect
Key Responsibilities
• Perform ship repair, shipbuilding, and maintenance activities according to project requirements.
• Support engineering, fabrication, mechanical, and electrical operations within shipyard facilities.
• Ensure adherence to marine safety standards and shipyard operational procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to deliver projects within schedule and quality standards.
• Operate specialized shipyard machinery, cranes, and heavy equipment where applicable.
• Maintain quality assurance and safety compliance in ship repair and shipbuilding operations.
• Assist in fabrication, welding, mechanical maintenance, and marine equipment installation.
• Maintain documentation, technical reports, and operational records where required.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Relevant technical diploma, engineering degree, or trade certification depending on the role.
• Previous experience in Shipyard, Ship Repair, Shipbuilding, or Marine Engineering projects is strongly preferred.
• Practical knowledge of shipyard operations, marine equipment, and fabrication processes.
• Gulf or Middle East experience is considered a strong advantage.
• Professional certifications related to safety, marine engineering, welding, or equipment operation may be beneficial depending on the position.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid operator licenses required for crane and heavy equipment roles.
AED 12,000 – AED 30,000 per month
