QA/QC Engineer
Job Location : UAE
Job description :
• Implement and maintain QMS in line with ISO 9001:2015 requirements
• Prepare and review ITPs, Method Statements, and Quality Procedures
• Conduct material inspections (plates, sections, bolts, consumables)
• Review MTCs and ensure compliance with project specifications
• Perform fit-up, welding, and dimensional inspections
• Monitor welding activities in line with American Welding Society / relevant welding standards
• Coordinate NDT activities (UT, MT, PT, RT)
• Manage NCRs, corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)
• Conduct internal audits and support external/client audits
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and ensure traceability
Requirements :
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• 5–8 years QA/QC experience in structural steel fabrication
• Strong knowledge of welding standards, WPS/PQR, and NDT processes
• Experience with hot-dip galvanizing and coating inspection
• ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor certification preferred
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
• Strong documentation and reporting skills
