Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of Treasury & Wholesale Banking applications
Architect robust and scalable banking systems with microservices and API integrations
Oversee backend development and database management (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments
Ensure compliance with banking regulations, SDLC governance, and enterprise IT policies
Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams to deliver functional solutions
Mentor and guide development teams to enforce coding standards and best practices
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Minimum 8+ years of experience in banking IT, with hands-on delivery of Treasury & Wholesale Banking applications
Deep domain expertise in Treasury & Wholesale Banking systems, workflows, and financial regulations
Strong programming skills in Java, .NET, or Python
Expertise in system architecture, microservices, API integrations, and integration frameworks
Proven experience with relational databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQL/PLSQL
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices
Hands-on knowledge of SDLC governance in regulated banking environments
Strong problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Average Market Salary (Estimated): OMR 2,500 – 3,500 per month
