Job Position – Senior Accountant

Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations for construction projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting and full compliance with accounting standards.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
– 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in precast or construction industry.(UAE/GCC)
– Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting principles.
– Proven experience in managing accounting operations and ensuring financial compliance.
– Good understanding of inventory accounting and material costing in construction/manufacturing environment.
– Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
– Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
– Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
Responsibilities:
– Handle day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
– Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely data entry in the accounting system.
– Prepare monthly financial reports and support management reporting requirements.
– Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processing with proper documentation and accuracy.
– Assist in inventory valuation and material costing in coordination with relevant departments.
– Coordinate with project, procurement, and production teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
– Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, accounting standards, and company financial policies.
– Support internal and external audits by providing required financial data and documentation.
– Monitor expenses and assist in budget control and financial planning activities.
– Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data across all accounting functions.
