Project Planning Lead
Job Location : Kuwait
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the project planning and scheduling activities for Oil & Gas EPC projects
• Develop and maintain overall project execution plans and master schedules
• Establish Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), baseline schedules, and progress measurement systems
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with approved timelines and milestones
• Identify critical path activities, delays, and propose recovery/mitigation plans
• Coordinate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams
• Lead weekly and monthly progress reporting and management dashboard preparation
• Review contractor/subcontractor schedules and ensure compliance with project requirements
• Conduct schedule risk analysis and forecasting for project completion
• Provide guidance and leadership to planning engineers and support staff
• Participate in client meetings, progress reviews, and project coordination meetings
• Ensure planning activities comply with EPC standards and project procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Electrical or related field)
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Project Planning in Oil & Gas EPC projects
• At least 2–3 years in a Planning Lead or similar supervisory role
• Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and MS Project
• Solid understanding of EPC project execution and construction sequencing
• Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
• Excellent analytical and reporting abilities
Preferred:
• GCC experience in large-scale Oil & Gas EPC projects
• Experience in delay analysis and project recovery planning
