VAM Systems is currently looking for System Administrator for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:
Experience Requirements
• 10+ years of overall IT experience, with a strong focus on systems administration.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and Azure.
• Proficient in managing Active Directory and other identity management systems.
• Proficient in managing Pallo Alto firewalls.
• Proficient in managing CISCO switches.
• Proficient in managing physical servers, storage, and backup.
• Solid understanding of networking, security protocols, and cloud architecture.
• Proven experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
• Strong background in supporting and troubleshooting enterprise applications and environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the architecture design and implementation of AWS and Azure solutions.
• Define system management standards and governance policies.
• Design scalable and secure cloud infrastructures.
• Manage and configure AWS and Azure accounts, ensuring optimal resource utilization and cost management.
• Administer network devices, including switches, routers, and firewalls, to maintain secure connections and efficient traffic flow.
• Manage backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Monitor and optimize system performance and configurations across all platforms.
• Oversee identity management and access control in Active Directory.
• Conduct system audits, performance tuning, and security assessments.
• Ensure seamless integrations with enterprise applications and services.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior system administrators.
• Promote best practices in system security, network management, and reliability.
Technical Skills & Competencies
• Cloud computing with AWS and Azure services.
• Network architecture and security best practices.
• Firewall and network device configurations.
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Scripting for automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Active Directory management and user access controls.
• Performance monitoring and troubleshooting techniques.
• Compliance with security frameworks and standards.
Must Have Qualifications
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (mandatory).
• Azure Administrator Certification (mandatory).
• Strong understanding of network management and security protocols.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Extensive experience with Active Directory and identity management.
• Proven technical leadership experience in systems administration.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).

Joining time frame: (15 - 30 days)
